Retention, concealment, and draw speed — pick two. A real kydex holster from a reputable shop is non-negotiable.
OWB for duty and light bearing; AIWB for everyday carry; level-2 or level-3 retention for open-carry and duty work. Never use a soft nylon holster for anything serious.
What to look for

- +Retention level (passive, level-2 thumb, level-3)
- +IWB vs OWB vs duty
- +Light-bearing compatibility (X300, TLR-1, DBAL)
- +Ride height and cant adjustability
