This antispall sleeve is engineered to enhance ballistic protection by combining fragmentation mitigation and bluntforce reduction into a single, integrated system. The onepiece construction is designed to fully encapsulate a steel armor plate, capturing projectile spall at the point of impact rather than allowing fragments to escape outward. Five layers of aramid fiber surround the strike area to absorb and retain secondary fragmentation, while a 10millimeter trauma pad positioned behind the plate helps reduce backface deformation and blunt force transfer to the body.The sleeve is enclosed in durable 1000D polyester fabric to withstand abrasion and repeated use while maintaining a lightweight profile for extended wear. This design delivers multilevel protection without adding unnecessary bulk, improving safety and comfort during training or operational use. In addition to steel plate compatibility, the sleeve is sized to accommodate ceramic armor plates, enabling additional protection configurations when paired with hard armor systems requiring enhanced spall and trauma mitigation.
